We are Dodd Ambassadors.

We are Lamar Dodd School of Art.

The Dodd Ambassadors are the face of Lamar Dodd School of Art and are some of the most accomplished students from all areas of study at the Dodd. They can be found at every exhibition opening or closing reception. Dodd Ambassadors play an active role in supporting events at the School of Art like the Scholarship and Awards Reception, Visiting Artist and Scholars Lectures, Dodd Graduation Reception, Career Days, UGA Spotlight on the Arts, and more. The Ambassadors are also key to prospective student recruitment, in which they provide tours for future students, their families, and visiting high schools from around the nation.

The Dodd Ambassadors are a group of undergraduate students dedicated to the interests of current and prospective students at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. Eligibility is open to any undergraduate student within the School or Art. Ambassadors represent students across a variety of majors, areas and minors as we strive to embody our diverse academic programs and environment. Dodd Ambassadors serve as tour guides to prospective students, as representatives at school events, and as facilitators to conversations for change. In addition, the Ambassadors work in conjunction and alignment with the Lamar Dodd School of Art Administration and the Board of Visitors as student representatives. This allows the Ambassadors to work closely with the development office to recruit prospective students and promote student visibility to the board of visitors and guests, and to engage in opportunities for professional development.
